It is only recently that Garmin has unveiled its latest series of fitness watches, but it appears that the company is already preparing its next series, including the Forerunner 955, the Forerunner 745, and the Fenix 6 Sport.
These three names have been spotted by a developer who is researching the Garmin Connect app code, suggesting there are devices the company plans to announce. a later date
The source has done a teardown and comparison of the APK, you can find it here on Reddit, so you can find the details, which seem to include 11 new devices that Garmin has yet to see.
The list includes Forerunner 745, Forerunner 955, Forerunner 955 LTE, and Fenix 6 Sport.
There are also three versions of the Tactix watch (called Delta, Sapphire and Solar), as well as the Index Scale 2, which is probably a pair of smart scales. Next, Edge 130 Plus, Edge 1030 Plus, and Lumen are also mentioned.
What the Fenix 6 Sport could offer, unlike other existing devices in this range, is still not a mystery, but it may have a slimmer design for those who want to work.
Of course, the Forerunner 955 LTE will have mobile internet, a feature currently missing from the Forerunner 945. It will likely allow you to receive phone calls and stream music directly from your wrist.
Take it all with a pinch of salt, because these devices may still never be marketed, but it's interesting to see what Garmin has apparently planned for its next pick of updates.
When we see them, it's unclear, but we'll keep you posted as soon as we hear from Garmin.
